15 years Science teaching experience in the classroom and one-to-one.

I teach face to face in a dedicated classroom space in my home in Brighton. I also offer remote online lessons using software that enables dual collaboration with my students - though face to face lessons are preferable. I quickly identify the learning needs of each individual with a focus on filling in gaps in their knowledge and clearing misconceptions. Using past exam papers I demonstrate how to tackle questions effectively so students know exactly how answer questions to obtain full marks.

Lesson content is flexible, allowing for on the spot adaptability within lessons. Students can be formally retaught lessons they might have missed or topics they didn't understand in school.

Additional homework/past papers can be set on request, and I am available to answer queries via email anytime at no extra cost.

I have experience working with school refusal, ASC and PDA. If your child is off school due to anxiety, please get in touch to see if I can support your child at your home during school hours.

Due to high demand we have taken on an Associate Science tutor from 2023. Paul has been teaching Science for 17 years and has earned Lead Practitioner status. He is an exceptional teacher and is especially good at increasing student confidence at all levels. He specialises in students with neurodiversity, especially ADHD.

In 2022 his top set GCSE class attained an average of 1.2 grades above their target. He is available to come to students homes if required. Paul also tutors A-Level Biology

Our new Physics Specialist, Krunal Desai, joined us in 2024. Krunal has been teaching Physics since 2017, and has come to the UK to provide his wealth of experience and knowledge of Physics, to the children of Brighton and Hove.. We are very pleased to welcome him to the team. Krunal is a warm and friendly person who has spent many years tutoring one to one in additional to being a classroom teacher.

He tutors GCSE Sciences and A-Level Physics.
